The school year has started and I am really far behind so let's get started. Caidance started 1st grade this year and has Mrs. Dockal, whom she adores. She is just growing up right before our eyes. She lost her first tooth a month after school started and she was so excited about that. I never thought that tooth would fall out. She lost her second tooth a couple of weeks after that and I think that one was worse than the first one. She goes until they absolutely just fall out. Caidance really enjoyed swimming and sewing this summer. I was so proud of the little skirt that she made at her sewing class and she has also learned to swim and hold her breath under water and has learned the different safety precautions. Shelby started pre-school and just loves it. Her teacher is Mrs. Valerie Fontenot and she loves going to school. I think that she may be the only child that is still in diapers and carries her paci, but that is how my lil Shell boo rolls. Shelby has such a little mind of her own and she surprises us everyday with her sayings. She now knows her ABC's but if she feels like saying them, she may have a headache that day! LOL she will lay on the floor and say that she can't say them because she has a headache. It has been a family joke now. I see my mom in her alot because of her tender personality. If any of us stump our toe or hurt ourself she will say, "you o.k. honey". If Caidance gives her something she will say, "thank you sweety." You can pretend to cry and Shelby will say, "it's o.k. don't cry" and pat you on the arm. You love to introduce your family to everyone that you meet and when something tastes really yummy, you will say, "this is so tasty, I wuv it." You girls are just so adorable. We have also bought our first home and we are just so thrilled to finally be settled. The girls have so much more room. Nanny made both of the girls quilts in their rooms and both Nanny and I have really enjoyed making crafts to fix up our new house. It was a very long process, but so glad that God has blessed us with our new home. Here are a few pictures to catch up on everything.
