Look who's 1

I know I can't believe it either, where has this year gone? My little Shell, Shell is turning 1 and oh did we have oodles and poodles of fun at her party. Yes, we had a pink and black poodle party for our little 1 year old. Our family from West Texas was able to join us and we had so much fun with them. We had Shelby's party at Mary Jo Peckham park and I think everyone had a great time eating bar-b-que sandwiches, playing golf, playing on the playground, and enjoying the beautiful weather that God blessed us with. This month Shelby has just grown so much. Here is just a snap shot of Shelby's little personality: Very loving, in fact she love to give out free hugs, and she just learned how to make the kissing noise so that we know she is giving us sweet Shel, Shel kisses, Shelby love her sissy, sometimes too much that she tends to get in her way a little too much sometimes, but that is what sissy's do. Shelby thinks that she is just as big as her sissy so she tries to do everything that she does, climbing on the chairs, playing with polly pockets (which Caidance spends alot of her time digging the shoes out of her mouth), taking the wii remotes or any remotes at that matter, and oh how she loves to call her papaw. Anytime the phone rings she always think that it is papaw and she tries to yank the phone out of everyones hand. Of course, papaw just loves that :)

Words that you can say: papaw (of course), dada, momma, (but mostly when you are upset), baba, oh and just this past week you started saying thank you, well it is more like tink ya, but it is so cute, you can say bye bye and wave to everyone, and you like to play the "where's Shelby" game. You will put your hands over your eyes or you will put your hand on your head and wait for someone to say, "where's Shelby" It is so cute. You have reached a huge milestone this month also, YOU ARE WALKING!!! I think that I can officially say that you are walking, you stumble a little, but doing so well. You weigh exactly 20 pounds so we have converted you to the official big girl car seat, but you are only at 20% for your height. Don't worry, shortness runs in the family.We just can't wait to see what this next year brings.
